My name is Ed Rizzo and I have been involved with internet marketing going on 10 years. I have written a few marketing courses that are a step by step formula to start and build an online business. I am also a publisher with a bi-monthly newsletter and have written several articles relating to Home Based Businesses and various other subjects relating to Internet Marketing. 

Most of my life was spent as a Steel Worker, Fabricator, and welder. I spent 8 years in the US Army and served in Alaska, Germany, and California. I took part in Granada and Panama, where I actually got to see some action.

I also have other websites relating to Internet Marketing information and many affiliate programs. I honestly enjoy every aspect of this business. I particularly enjoy building websites. I only wish I had more time so I can offer designing as part of my business. I never had any formal training regarding Internet Marketing or even computers for that matter. Most of everything I do was learned by doing my own research and plugging away, refusing to give up. I definitely paid my dues.

When I first got started, I was an infomercial junky. I literally bought about every Money Making scheme and scam that was available. Anyone remember Dave DelDotto or Brad Richdale? How about HUD refunds and finder fees. Yeah, I got suckered into them all. There were so many I lost count. Talk about steel, I was the magnet. Now, bear in mind, this was BEFORE the Internet came along.

When I got my first computer, 1995, there were not many Business Opportunities around. A few here and there. But, as with anything, it didn't take long for the TV scams and schemes to start showing up online. If you think I was bad relating to TV scams, you should have seen what happened to me when I got the internet bug. I was , for lack of a better term, possessed!! I was bound and determined to find a easy way to get rich. I believed everything I read. I knew I could get 'RICH' overnight and nobody could tell me different!

It got so bad I came very close to filing for bankruptcy. I was in the lawyers office with the pen in my hand ready to sign the papers for chapter 7. My wife had threatened to leave, everything was crashing.

To make a long story short, I didn't file for bankruptcy, I backed out in the last minute, promised my wife I would give up my "get rich quick" mentality and started working all the overtime I could so I could get out of the hole I had dug. I didn't give up on my dreams and goal. Over the next 2 years, I read everything I could get my hands on relating to marketing, advertising and running a small business.

I knew I didn't want to spend the rest of my life making some else rich.  I knew I could do it. I just needed a different direction. I needed to learn how to handle a business and I also had to convince myself that there is no easy way to make money. The old saying that you have to work for what you want is true. There really is no easy way. Let me tell you, if there was I would have found it.

I finally found what I had been missing. The key ingredient. The big secret that you hear about all the time. I couldn't believe it but the only thing I lacked was training. How to market. How to advertise. The correct way to set up a website. The right products to offer. Once I realized what needed to be done, I got excited again. You see, I had some of the pieces of the puzzle already. I had the drive, the determination and I was definitely committed to being successful. The only ingredient I was lacking is the most important and the very first ingredient to the formula. Training! Knowledge. Think about that for a minute. How can you possibly start a new career without having the training. A doctor doesn't become a doctor just because he says he wants to be a doctor. Same for a lawyer, welder, bulldozer operator, carpenter, mechanic, you name it.

You can't be very good at whatever you want to do if you don't get the training you need to succeed. Why anyone would think differently just because you want to start an internet business and work from home!!

Even today, after all these years of scams and schemes, thousands of people still get suckered into that same mentality. If most people read that this opportunity is SO easy and there is absolutely NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED they jump in with both eyes closed and both arms stretched out. Think about this. If an online business was as easy as some say, why isn't everybody doing it. If you really need no experience, than everyone would be millionaires??

What I try to do and one of my goals in life, is to provide anyone who would like to start a Home Based Business, the training they, you need to get started. I like to provide information relating to what it is really like to run your own business.

To guide you in the right direction and help you spot and avoid the millions of scams and schemes that plague the internet. I like to think that I give a real, day to day, step by step education and insight to anyone wanting it, in the world of internet marketing. Exactly what you need to do to not only start a business. Hell, anyone can do that. I offer information way beyond that. I can show anyone how to not only start an online business, but also, how to build and grow your business. How to obtain multiple streams of income.

How to be self sufficient by starting from the beginning. From how to choose what your business will be, what to offer and how to offer it. How to build websites, what to look for in a webhost. Every aspect of Internet Marketing, including how to automate as much of your business as possible. Automation gives you more free time and one  of the reasons most people start a home business is to have more money, yes, but also more time to do the things they like to do.

This is what DPDHomeBusiness is all about. I know I get to rambling on and on. I wanted to give you some of my background, so you can know for yourself that I have been there, done that. I have experienced the whole ups and downs of internet marketing. That's what I am trying to get across. I know what it was like to fail. And fail miserably!!. I also know what it's like to reach my goals and dreams. I want to tell you it is nice.

This is by far, the best career I could have chosen. One of the best decisions I ever made. It just proves that if you have the knowledge, desire, determination and commitment, there is no limit to what you can achieve.
